Levels - curriculum

Survival Polish "Oberek" – Synthesis courses A1 and A 2. The minimum necessary to start communication in Poland.

  • Сontains 72 lessons with vocabulary around 600 words

WILL TEACH YOU:

  • basic grammar and communication;
  • comprehension of basic Polish;
  • how to cope with everyday situations [simple phrases];
  • to hold basic conversations;

YOU WILL then be able:

  • to read and comprehend some Polish;
  • to tell who you are & what you do;
  • to order food in a restaurant;
  • to ask for direction;
  • to make an appointment;
  • to ask for help;
  • to feel familiar with Polish and be willing to learn more ...

YOU WILL also be familiar with the Polish style of life and customs. YOU WILL get to know some basic Polish phrases.

Polish for beginners "Bal Polski" - COMPLETE PROGRAMME FOR BEGINNERS – It consists of 2 levels. Every level comprises 72 lessons (30 topics). Each level can be studied separately. This programme is relevant to prepare foreigners to communicate in Poland as it contains sessions on Polish customs, culture and traditions.

  • 144 lessons with vocabulary around 1600 words.

Level A1 – "Polonez"

  • Сontains 72 lessons with vocabulary around 810 words.

WILL TEACH YOU:

  • to use basic complimentary phrases;
  • vocabulary concerning basic situations of everyday life;
  • reading with comprehension;
  • basic grammar and communication skills.

YOU WILL then be able:

  • to read and comprehend some Polish;
  • to introduce yourself;
  • to tell who you are & what you do;
  • to shop;
  • to hold short conversations in everyday situations;
  • to build short informative statements.

YOU WILL be familiar with elements of Polish customs.

Level A2 – "Kujawiak"

  • Сontains 72 lessons with vocabulary around 760 words.

WILL TEACH YOU:

  • to give more information about yourself;
  • better understanding of longer statements and texts;
  • vocabulary concerning everyday life, both private and business ;
  • wider range of basic grammatical rules;
  • basics of pronunciation and reading of texts aloud;
  • skills to write a short text.

YOU WILL then be able:

  • to order a taxi;
  • to buy equipment for the office;
  • to make an appointment;
  • to express your opinions, wishes and needs, eg. greetings.

YOU WILL be familiar with elements of Polish customs and traditions.
