Methodology

Schola Polonica has developed its own method of teaching Polish based on up-to-date communicative and functional methodology and motivating, essentially practical approach.

• We offer manuals, exercises, a videotape with special audio-video programme created by our school, and also complementary materials for individual work (for conversation as well as grammar practise - exercises, games, plays, puzzles, crosswords etc.)
  We have also developed a series of easy-to-use workbooks clearly cross-references to the course programmes and particularly helpful to consolidate with previously practised material.
  
• Polish is the only language spoken in the classroom.
• We concentrate on communication, but grammar is not neglected. We teach grammar in its effective use and realistic context.
• Active learning only, no memorisation. Just like a Lego game - the student builds up more and more sophisticated constructions combining very simple elements.
• First you will learn to communicate and understand, later comes some reading and writing practice.
