A1 Absolute beginner You know few words, few expressions (like greeting) but you can't hold the conversation A2 Oral comprehension - You can comprehend of basic Polish words connected with typical situation. You know many words, you can understand if somebody speaks slowly. Speaking - You can hold basic conversation, order food in restaurant or ask about direction. You can ask simple questions but you can't follow a normal conversation. Reading - You know basic rules of pronunciation and reading. You can read simple text. Writing - You know basic polish grammar. You can build simple sentences. You can write short text. B1 Oral comprehension - You can understand the language much better then you can speak it.. You can hold conversation about general topics and about your opinions. Speaking - You can describe you and who you are. You can tell about your preferences and hobby. You can say what you did in the past and what are you going to in the future (in simple words). Reading - You know how to read text in polish. You understand short text about different everyday situations, your job, free time. Writing - You can write short note or letter when you want to meet with somebody. B2 Oral comprehension - You still tend to translate, you don't feel confident in language. You understand general topics and some specialist information. Speaking - You have no problem to communicate in everyday situations (for ex. car repair). You can tell your opinion and discuss. Reading - You can read and you understand newspaper. Writing - You know grammar. You can write longer text about various topics. C1 Oral comprehension - You still can't think in the language.. You have extensive vocabulary and you understand most of expressions. Speaking - You can talk about everyday subject without trouble. You speak almost fluently, but you have problem with specialist vocabulary. You are able to understand unknown content. Reading - You are able to read almost all texts (if not too specialised) from newspaper. You understand texts connected with your occupation. Writing - You still have problems with writing, but you can hold professional correspondence or write presentation of your business.. You know and you use most of the grammar rules.
